Av. Francesca Micallef

Dr Francesca Micallef graduated from the University of Malta in 2020, obtaining a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) before completing the Master of Advocacy. She was admitted to the Maltese Bar in 2021 and is authorised to practise before the Superior Courts of Malta.

From the outset of her legal career, Dr Micallef has focused on civil and commercial litigation, gaining valuable experience at a leading local law firm where she represented both individuals and businesses across a broad range of contentious matters. Her practice has included commercial disputes, contractual claims, debt recovery, property-related matters and employment disputes, allowing her to develop a practical, strategic and client-focused approach to legal representation.

In 2026, Dr Micallef founded FM Legal with the vision of creating a modern boutique law firm built on accessibility, personalised service and trusted legal advice. She believes every client deserves direct access to their advocate, clear and practical guidance, and legal solutions tailored to their individual circumstances.

While litigation remains at the heart of her practice, Dr Micallef also advises clients on commercial contracts, employment law, property matters and ongoing legal support for businesses. She is committed to providing pragmatic legal solutions, whether through negotiation, alternative dispute resolution or court proceedings where necessary.

Today, Dr Micallef advises both private individuals and businesses across a broad range of civil and commercial matters and regularly appears before the Civil Courts of Malta and various tribunals.
